They will always test us! When you walk in that first day of school, they will test you to see where your boundaries are. They need to know how far you will bend the rules or how much you will tolerate. For most students who are difficult, I have found that you must earn their trust. They are the ones we struggle with that first day, but will make a lasting impression on our lives!
BIG ADVICE: I have seen this a few times...Always remember you are NOT there to be their friend! You are there to love them and teach them as much as their little brains can hold for one year! I have found that we can have huge impact on their lives or we can be unconducing. It all depends on how our boundaries are set that first day!
